Math is something I love spending time on. I enjoy challenging my mind. I have always liked math, but it did not always come easily to me. I struggled through Algebra in high school. When I got to college, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pass College Algebra. So, I chose a major that didn't require any math. Then, I ended up marrying an engineer. Knowing Stephen was by my side, I had the courage to return to college for a second degree. My major was MATH!! After graduating with a math degree, I taught in middle school for one year. I have been teaching high school now for a total of nine years. I also now have a successful tutoring business which gives me great pleasure. I get very excited each time one of my students tells me, "I PASSED MY TEST!"
